Resetting my goals

Quarter one is in the books and, oof, it was a slow one. I added more hours at my job and didn’t get as much writing done as I hoped I would.

Quarter Two Wrap Up

  1. Write 13 blog or medium posts. Incomplete. I did write a single one
  2. Read 13 books. Incomplete.
  3. Edit Press Start. Complete.
  4. Publish Press Start. Complete! I actually published it a day before Game On hit its one year anniversary.
  5. Edit Roll of the Dice. Incomplete.
  6. Draft Book Two of Callsigns. Incomplete
  7. Complete 1 30 day challenge. Incomplete.
  8. Read 1 craft or self-help book. Incomplete.
  9. Fill three notebooks. Incomplete. I didn’t fill a single one.
  10. Type up 75K words. Incomplete. I barely got any words typed.
  11. Write 150 pages. Incomplete. I barely wrote.

Out of my eleven goals, I successfully completed two of them. Not a spectacular beginning to the year. I was so focused on getting Press Start published that I left all of my other goals fall to the wayside.

My allergies also played a huge factor in some of my not being completed. Spring is definitely here and I’m stuffed up.

Quarter two is already rolling along and I need to kick it into high gear if I want to reach some of my yearly goals.

Quarter Three Goals

  1. Write 13 blog or medium posts.
  2. Read 13 books.
  3. Edit Love in the Shadows.
  4. Get Love in the Shadows into Alpha edits.
  5. Edit Roll of the Dice.
  6. Draft Callsigns book 2.
  7. Draft Picking up the Pieces.
  8. Plot Going Home.
  9. Complete 1 30 day challenge.
  10. Read 1 craft or self-help book
  11. Finish reading martial arts book
  12. Fill three notebooks
  13. 13 YouTube videos and 13 YT Shorts.
  14. Type up 75K words
  15. Write 150 pages

I added a whole lot of goals this quarter and I’m crossing my fingers that the lessons I learned during Q1 help me achieve them.

How are your goals coming along? Let me know in the comments!
